Description

VETUE - MAST is an association of 2 broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotics that covers virtually all germs originating mastitis.

Cloxacillin is the antibiotic of choice to treat mastitis caused by all types of staphylococci (aureus and sp.) including those resistant to penicillin. It's very effective on streptococcus agalactiae, which causes contagious and easily spread mastitis, and also on environmental streptococcus like dysgalactiae and uberis.

Ampicillin adds up to the activity of the Cloxacillin on non-penicilling producing streptococcus, corynebacteria and staphylococci and broadens the spectrum of action to cover gram negative germs like Escherichia coli.
