Description

Oral solution containing Enrofloxacin 10 %, latest chemotherapeutic agent belonging to the group of quinolones.

Broad-spectrum bactericide acting directly on bacterial nucleus (DNA gyrase) inhibiting development of bacterial DNA.

Acts preferentially on Gram negative, although it has effect on Gram positive, mycoplasma, chlamydia and anaerobes.

Indications

Prevention and treatment of infectious processes caused by sensitive germs:Mycoplasma sp., Clamidia sp., Salmonella sp., Pasteurella sp., Klebsiella sp., Streptococus sp., Staphylococus sp., as well as other Gram positive and Gram negative germs.

Indicated for poultry and rabbits.

Oral intake.

Dosage

Animal	Suggested dosage
Poultry	Base dosage: 10 mg of active principle per 1 kg live weight, 50 ml per 100 l of drinkable water, during 3 to 5 days.
Rabbits	5 to 10 mg of active principle per 1 kg live weight, about 50 to 100 ml per 100 l of drinkable water.
This shall be the only water for animals to drink during 3 or 4 days, period during which most part of infectious processes diminish. In the case of salmonellosis, treatment can be extended for 2 or 3 additional days. Change of dosage is at the discretion of the animal health proffesional.

Precautions and contraindications

Prepare solution when it's going to be used, only the estimated quantity for daily consumption and dispose of the surplus product.
Do not administer to dehydrated animals or with kidney problems.
Do not administer for long periods when animals are growing (no more than 5 days).

Use restrictions

Send animals to slaughter for human consumption after 10 days of end of treatment have elapsed.
Do not administer to laying hens whose eggs are for human consumption.
